Vienna - Austria

Vienna is one of the states of Austria and also the capital of the country. In total Austria has nine states. The population of the city is approximately 1.7 million. It is considered as the country's primary city because of the fact that not only is it the capital of Republic of Austria but also it is the largest city in the country. According to statistics Vienna was included in the list of the cities which are given the designation of UNESCO World Heritage Site. Inside Vienna people enjoy a quality life as the city is very secure and has a very healthy environment.



Due to the healthy environment, and rapid growth of the city Vienna received many immigrants from all parts of the world and also from the other cities of the country due to which the population of the city increased rapidly in the early 19th Century.
The geographical location of Vienna is basically the north eastern side of Austria. The city is close to three countries which are Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The climatic conditions are according to the season but a bit humid atmosphere. As the city's summers starts from May and remains until middle of September and the temperature varies in between 20 to 30 degrees. Winters are colder and are from October until mid March. The temperatures in winters are commonly at or below freezing point. Also most of the rainfall and snowfall normally occurs in the months starting from December until March.
Vienna is one of those cities of the world which has a rich and traditional culture as the people of Vienna are very traditional and culturally strong. For the pleasure and amusement of the people of Vienna there are many theatres and musical events conducted almost every night. Among all these theatres "Burgtheatre "is one of the biggest theatres. Opera theatres are also a lot in number inside the boundary walls of Vienna. One of the theatres named as "Theater an der Wien" in recent years has gained popularity for the hosting of huge musical events.
Also for the younger generation there are many museums which represent different aspects and angles of the Austrian History. These museums are designed and maintained in such a way that now a days the youngsters of Austria really like to visit them which also tells them about the history of their ancestors and also provide them a greater knowledge.
In the field of architecture Vienna is very famous for having both the classic and the modern styles of buildings. Among these buildings many of them receive heavy amount of tourists throughout the year. The "Hundertwasserhaus" is one the most visited masterpiece of construction.
